Who are we?
The Wheelis family is just like YOU…we’re everyday, ordinary, flawed people who love Jesus. Robert, a youth pastor and self-proclaimed “Sooner football fanatic”, Jenny, a work-at-home entrepreneur and mom. Tyler and Austin are typical kids (at least, as typical as twin 9-year-old boys can be). And then there’s Jadyn, the apple of our eye, our sweet 4-year-old, adopted from China.
In 2002, Robert attended a church conference which opened his eyes to world missions. Six months later, profoundly impacted by the conference, Robert found himself in Albania with a group of Oklahoma City businessmen on a short-term trip.
Three years later, after a whole lot of soul-searching and praying, we decided to move to Albania in September of 2006 to begin the adventure of a lifetime!
Hey Wheelis Family! It is sooooooo awesome that you are in Albania! I have been reading your blogs and I am (and I know Brian would be too) total in awe of your current residence. This is Meghan Hartwig who lived across the street from Brad and Carrie and babysat a couple times for you guys while in Norman. Brian and I got married 2 years ago and live in FL.

You all look great in the picture. I would attach a pic of the Bass/Buchner clan from Easter including 91 year old grandpa, but I don’t know how to do it in this venue.
